The Azurwing Scepter has a curse, if the wielder does not use it at least once a week, the wielder will have a -1 penalty to all their saving throws, and this penalty will increase by 1 every week until the scepter is used or until the wielder dies.
Notes:
The Azurwing Scepter is a powerful and highly sought-after artifact, as it allows its wielder to harness the powers of an ancient blue dragon. Jhudar the Dragon-slayer was said to be the only one who truly understood the full extent of its abilities, and many have searched for the scepter since his death, but it remains hidden, waiting for a worthy wielder to uncover it.
This scepter is not limited by character level or class, it is an artifact and as such it has unique abilities and attributes. It's important to note that the item is cursed if not used, and that the ritual to attune to it is costly, but once attuned the wielder will have access to the scepter's powerful abilities.
Backstory:
In a land of ancient kingdoms and legendary beasts, there was a sorcerer-king named Jhudar. Jhudar was feared and respected throughout the land for his immense power and his skill in battle. He was known as the Dragon-slayer, for he had defeated more dragons than any other mortal in the history of the land. But Jhudar had not yet faced his greatest challenge: Azurwing, the ancient blue dragon.
Azurwing was a creature of immense power, with scales as blue as the sky and eyes that gleamed like sapphires. It was said that Azurwing's breath could summon lightning from the very heavens, and that its roar could shake the foundations of the earth. Many had tried to defeat Azurwing, but all had failed. Jhudar, however, was not one to shy away from a challenge.
Jhudar set out to hunt Azurwing, armed only with his sorcery and his courage. The battle was long and fierce, and the land shook with the fury of the dragon's breath and the sorcerer's spells. For days and nights they fought, until finally Jhudar emerged victorious. Azurwing lay dead at his feet, and Jhudar claimed the dragon's bones as his prize.
With the bones of Azurwing, Jhudar crafted the Azurwing Scepter, a powerful artifact that granted him control over the elements and the ability to harness the dragon's innate powers. Jhudar used the scepter to cement his rule over the land, and his enemies trembled before him.
But Jhudar's reign was not meant to last forever. Eventually, he was defeated in battle and the Azurwing Scepter was lost to the ages. Many believe that the scepter still exists, and that it is hidden away in a secret location, waiting for a worthy wielder to uncover it.
The Azurwing Scepter is said to be incredibly powerful, but also incredibly dangerous. It is said that those who wield it must be careful not to let the power of the scepter consume them, as it has done to many before. But for those with the strength to wield it, the scepter holds the power to conquer kingdoms and bend the elements to their will.
